Energy Efficiency (Part L)

Description

The Energy Efficiency (Part L) course, for Gas or Oil-Fired Domestic Heating and Hot Water systems is designed to enable you to understand and be competent when carrying out the design of heating systems in accordance with Part L of the Building Regulations. This course is aimed at heating engineers, design engineers and operatives in the building services industry looking to self-certificate their installations through one of the Competent Persons Schemes (CPS)

Prerequisites

You must have at least one of the following prerequisites:

  • ACS
  • OFTEC
  • N/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in plumbing (or equivalent)
  • N/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in heating and ventilating (or equivalent)
  • N/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in gas installation/maintenance (or equivalent)
  • N/SVQ Level 2 or 3 in oil-fired technical services (or equivalent)
  • Previous energy efficiency cert

Delegates will need to bring photo ID and a passport photo to the course.
